Jersey could vote for independence from UK following Brexit

Jersey could vote for independence from the UK, if the island is unhappy with the terms it's able to agree with the European Union.

The island's Minister for External Relations has been outlining Jersey's plan, following the UK's decision to leave the EU last week.

Senator Sir Philip Bailhace says we 'have to prepare' for the new terms on offer not to be in Jersey's interests.

However, the Minister says 'at the moment' it seems an unlikely outcome.
