Jersey Bee keepers discover metre long Asian hornet nest

Bee keepers in Jersey have discovered a metre long Asian Hornet nest in the north east of the island.

The Environment Department have been trying to control the pest from spreading, which is known to kill and feed off the Honey Bee.

It's the biggest nest they've found so far, and it's thought more than 200 queen bees could have been living inside.

The Jersey Bee Keepers association want the public to continue reporting any finds.
