Deputy David De Lisle has become the second member of Guernsey’s Education, Sport & Culture Committee to resign in two weeks.

He’s cited differences in opinion with the committee which have been around ‘for some time.’

This news comes days after the appointment of Deputy John Gollop to the committee and the recent appointment of Deputy Andrea Dudley-Owen as the committee’s Vice-President.

The Future of Secondary Education in Guernsey is set to be debated by the States of Guernsey in January with the committee for Education, Sport & Culture championing a three school model for Secondary Education.

It’s expected proposals for a two school model of Secondary Education will be released to the public next week.
