Frequent showers this morning, some heavy, possibly thundery, especially towards the coast. Through the afternoon, tending to become drier and brighter, with fewer showers and some sunny spells. The best of the sunshine most likely across Cheshire. Maximum temperature 7 deg C (45 deg F).


A few showers possible, especially for Cumbria, but becoming largely dry overnight with some clear spells. Rain possible in the south by dawn. Minimum temperature 2 deg C (36 deg F).


Rain spreading across most parts during the morning, heavy at times, gradually clearing eastwards through the evening. Maximum temperature 7 deg C (45 deg F).

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Largely unsettled with outbreaks of rain or showers, though some drier, brighter spells too, especially on Monday. Overnight patchy fog and frost is likely.
