Sale fly-half Danny Cipriani has been named in the England rugby union squad to tour New Zealand.

If he plays, it will be the first time the 26-year-old has represented his country since 2008.

Cipriani has earned a place in Stuart Lancaster's initial 30-man squad as George Ford is injured, while Owen Farrell and Stephen Myler are ruled out of the first Test match due to their involvement in the Premiership final on May 31.
