Boy blown into the sea on a bouncy castle
A young boy from the Isle of Man, who was blown into the sea on a bouncy castle, is recovering at home after being released from hospital.
Six-year-old Liam Hansen was playing on the bouncy castle at Douglas Carnival on Saturday when it happened.
He was pulled out of the water by a member of the public, Johnny Glover, and taken to Noble's Hospital as a precaution.
Liam's mother said:
Words cannot express how grateful I am to Johnny! I didn't have the mental capacity to thank him earlier, I was hysterical!!
Douglas Borough Council said:
An incident occurred on the Promenade this afternoon [Saturday] involving inflatable play equipment and a child ended up in the sea.
