A syndicate of IT workers from Knowsley is celebrating today after scooping over £100,000 on Tuesday’s National Lottery EuroMillions draw.

The “IT Crowd” won £109,182 after matching five numbers and one Lucky Star and now plan to use the money on a string of luxury holidays.

The 10-strong syndicate will each take home £10,918.20. Five members of the syndicate were on hand to celebrate the win.

Syndicate leader and youngest member, Joe Kerslake, 21, a trainee IT support analyst from Wigan, spoke about their win.

He said:

Describing the moment they won, Joe explained how the win went from “good to great” after speaking to a co-worker.

He added:

  • Jeff Jelves, 47, an IT support analyst from Warrington

  • Roisin Howarth, 34, an IT admin co-ordinator from Prescot

  • Steven Cunliffe, 34, IT help desk manager from Wigan

The “IT Crowd” have been playing EuroMillions for almost two years. The syndicate’s winning numbers on Tuesday 8 March were: 1, 8, 9, 14, 23 and the Lucky Star 7.
