This shocking footage shows the ‘terrifying’ moment a beloved family pet was attacked by two loose German Shepherds in the middle of a busy road.
Six men can be seen wielding brooms and a chair in a desperate bid to fend off two large dogs as they attack a white Boxer on Didsbury Road in the Heatons, Stockport .
Cars can be seen queueing along the road as the drama unfolds in the middle of the street on Mother’s Day, March 6.
The Boxer’s owner described the incident as ‘completely terrifying’ and said his pet suffered puncture wounds during the vicious attack.
The dog walker, who did not wish to be named, said:
Just minutes earlier, Donna Jones’ tiny dog Kaspa was mauled as she walked with him down Didsbury Road.
Police say two security dogs, called Ronnie and Reggie, were reported missing from a scrap metal merchants in Levenshulme on the morning of the incident. It has not been confirmed if they were responsible for the attacks in Stockport.
Donna, 44, was walking her two-year-old Yorkshire Terrier Pug cross when she saw two German Shepherds circling a jogger.
When they spotted Kaspa they raced across the road towards Donna.
