Mother and daughter seriously injured in Oldham hit and run

Police are appealing for witnesses after a hit and run left a mother and daughter in hospital with serious injuries.

The car involved drove into a bus shelter on Friday afternoon on Glodwick Road, Oldham, hitting a woman, 29, and her 11-year-old daughter.

The woman is being treated in hospital for leg and pelvic fractures. The girl suffered leg fractures and a lacerated liver.

The driver and three passengers, all described as Asian males, fled the scene.
