A 23-year-old man was arrested in the Sussex coast town by police investigating the Manchester bombing.

A man who lived in a flat raided by counter-terror police in Shoreham-by-Sea, Sussex, was a Libyan training to be a pilot, a hairdresser said.

Violet Mainda, who cuts the hair of the man who lives in the flat, described her client as "a very nice bloke".

He was a client. He was a normal bloke, very jovial.

I think he had finished, or was still training, to be a pilot.

He told me but I can't quite remember what he said. He was from Libya."
