Fury hints at retirement by announcing he won't apply for new boxing licence

Controversial former world heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, has taken a step towards potentially retiring after announcing he will not be reapplying for a boxing licence from the British Boxing Board of Control.

Fury was stripped of the licence a year ago pending an investigation into alleged doping offences.

The Mancunina has grown frustrated at the delay in that investigation and has now decided he won't seek a renewal.

He could, though, still apply for a licence in another country.
