Around fifty cows escaped from a farm last night before running riot through the streets of Sale, Manchester.
Bemused neighbours watched in alarm as the animals began strolling into gardens and damaging cars after escaping.
Stephen Bell, a 45-year-old HGV driver, helped to move around 15 of the cows from Dunbar Farm on Little Ees Lane in Sale, Manchester, into a dead end on Ripon Grove, before calling the police.
Speaking of the moment he spotted the cattle, he said:
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman confirmed that there are still about 30 cows on the loose.
