A woman from the Isle of Man diagnosed with cancer has had a fundraising page set up so her dream wedding can come true.

30-year-old Heather Crompton of Peel has grade three cancer, which has spread to her bones.

Doctors have estimated her time left is between a year to five years.

She is also 28 weeks pregnant and will have a premature birth at 34 weeks, before her chemotherapy begins.

Heather's brother Gary Crompton has set up a Just Giving page to raise £10,000 for his sister's dream wedding.

There is also a fundraising event tonight at the Villa Marina, Douglas for Isle of Man Breast Care, Noble’s Hospital’s Special Care Baby Unit and Jane Crookall Maternity Unit.

I have been in hospital a month this Sunday, the maternity ward staff have been amazing and so hard working. For my bucket list, which includes my wedding on 15th September, I want to arrive in a Segway, with 21 bridesmaids on quads, the groom's man with Shetland ponies, the usher on a donkey, and my fiance on a white horse unicorn. Also my baby coming down aisle in a remote control Audi sports car with the rings. Just a massive party to celebrate and get everyone together and make great memories.
