A woman on the Isle of Man is selling her house through an online competion for twenty pounds a ticket.

Anne Lumley of Kirk Michael's £800,000 four-bedroomed house and 10 acres failed to sell, so she took a different approach.

The property boasts scenic views over the hills, with stables and kennels.

Anne wants to move to the UK to be nearer to her family in Yorkshire, having lived on the island for over 25 years.

The winner will be announced at the end of May and won't have to pay mortage.

I saw someone do it in Lancashire last year, and thought it was a really good idea, something different. And because the housing market is quite rubbish at the moment, I thought I would look into it and after some research and some planning I decided to give it a go.
