Further arrests have been made in connection with an investigation into Child Sexual Exploitation in Bury.
The multi-agency investigation led by the CSE and Operation Burgos Team in Bury, have been working since June 2017 to identify child sexual exploitation offences and provide specialist support to victims.
Increased patrols continue to operate around Clarence and Openshaw Park, while officers work with the local community as part of their disruption plan.
Today, Wednesday 15 August 2018, two men aged 21 and 24 have been arrested on suspicion of child sexual exploitation and indecent images and remain in custody for questioning.
These arrests bring the total number of people arrested as part of the operation to 21.
