Fracking is due begin today at a controversial site in Lancashire.

Caudrilla beat a court appeal to halt the drilling at Little Plumpton, near Preston, last week.

High winds and rain delayed the start of fracking at the Preston New Road site on Saturday.

It comes after an environmental campaigner failed in a High Court bid to block operations.

But energy firm Cuadrilla said fracking had been postponed until Monday as the region felt the effects of Storm Callum.
