Police are renewing their appeal for help in catching the killer of a sex worker from Liverpool,
The body of 31-year-old Linda Suzanne Donaldson was found with a number of injuries lying in a ditch in a field off Winwick Lane, Lowton, on 18 October 1988. She'd been stabbed multiple times.
Despite numerous enquiries, repeated appeals for information and new forensic techniques developed in the intervening 30 years, her killer has never been caught.
Enquiries at the time established Linda's body had been moved to the ditch after her death but the location of the murder has never been verified. Three decades on, specialist officers are renewing their appeal for information.
