NSPCC wants choirs and singers for Liverpool One Christmas carols

The NSPCC is calling on local choirs and performers of all abilities, both professional and amateur, to help the charity’s Christmas Appeal this year, to shine a “Light for every childhood.”

Liverpool ONE has formed a partnership with the NSPCC to help make Christmas magical for even more children, by shining a bright light for those children facing neglect.

The NSPCC is encouraging local choirs, from schools, community groups, local churches and performers of all abilities to sign up to perform at Liverpool ONE and sing their hearts out whilst raising funds for the NSPCC.

There is a selection of dates in the run up to Christmas to suit all those interested.

Janette Drew, Community Fundraising Manager for the North West said:

Please do come and join us at Liverpool ONE this Christmas, helping us to reach even more children. I love how choirs and singing together are really special ways of celebrating Christmas and Merseyside is world famous for its musical heritage so I have high hopes of hearing some wonderful local talent.

Donna Howitt, Marketing Director at Liverpool ONE, said:

We believe our partnership with the NSPCC will help us to light up even more Christmases this year.

We are all really looking forward to welcoming a whole variety of choirs and singers throughout the Christmas period and right up until Christmas Day.

The choirs will really complement all of the other great activity which we have happening at Liverpool ONE this festive season with excitement literally popping up around every street corner.
