Charlie Procter, the brave little boy who had cancer, has died

Little Charlie Procter from Lancashire who battled a rare form of cancer for more than two years has died at the age of 5. He died late on Friday night surrounded by his family.

Charlie was first diagnosed with cancer in February 2016.

In 2017 he went into remission but tragically the cancer returned.

His family announced last month that fundraising to get the youngster to the United States for live-saving treatment was to end.

Almost £360,000 had been raised to help Charlie, who was battling hepatoblastoma.

Superstar singer P!nk had backed his fight and in October, his family brought forward his sixth birthday by half a year so the youngster could celebrate the milestone he had desperately wanted to reach.
