A man has been charged with the murder of a camper found dead in a Merseyside park.
Peter Seeclear, 45, from Toxteth, Liverpool, died while staying in a tent in Stadt Moers Park in Whiston, where he had been fishing.
A Merseyside Police spokesman said Nathan James Muat, also 45, and of Upper Parliament Street, Toxteth, had been charged with murder.
The force said Mr Seeclear had been camping with another man in the park over several days.
At first it was thought he had suffered a seizure but a post-mortem examination later revealed his cause of death was severe traumatic chest injuries.
