Dramatic police helicopter pictures show the moment a drugs gang member was arrested on the M6 with a staggering £2.4m-worth of cocaine hidden in his car.
Sam O'Neill was still sat behind the wheel as he was handcuffed.
He was stopped on the motorway by officers in four unmarked cars. Police boxed him in as he travelled north.
When car was searched, officers found 30kg of high purity cocaine in shoeboxes with pink lids.
O'Neill was jailed alongside his wife and four other men following an investigation into a multi-million pound drugs ring.
The court heard Jennifer O'Neill has told her husband that their marriage of 13 years is over, and that she has taken off her wedding ring.
Sam O'Neill, 35, from Hattersley; Gary O'Regan, 34, from Salford; Paul Higginson, 40, from Kirby on Merseyside; and Patrick Warde, 52, from Heywood, were equal partners in the huge drugs scheme, a judge at Manchester Crown Court ruled.
Jennifer O'Neill, 31, and Darren Gill, 27, who's from Chorley, had lesser roles.
Judge Patrick Field jailed all six defendants for almost 100 years.
