Detectives have bailed a 21-year-old man who was arrested after dangerous pills hospitalised three teenage boys.

The teenagers, from Bury, were admitted to hospital critically ill on Thursday. One was placed in an induced coma. All are now in a stable condition.

Investigators believe the boys, one aged 14 and the others aged 15, took beige-coloured pills marked with the letters 'UPS.' The pills have a strong, sickly smell.

Police say no-one should take the pills and anyone who has must seek medical attention.

The 21-year-old, who was arrested on Friday, has now been released on bail pending further inquiries.
