Easter Forecast - Temperatures and sunshine amounts on the rise!

High pressure is in charge of our weather for the first half of the Easter weekend. Over the next few days temperatures will rise with a good dose of sunshine developing across the North West.

It's still April - so the evenings will cool off quickly as the sun goes down - but in the Spring sunshine temperatures will rise to the twenties celsius, peaking on Saturday.

At the moment it looks like there could be a cooler and cloudier theme Sunday into Monday as weather fronts threaten from the north west. But these look weak, and shouldn't spoil things too much.

WEDNESDAY:

Early low cloud will soon clear to leave a fine and dry day, with plenty of sunshine and light winds. It will feel much warmer than of late. Highs 18-20°C.

THURSDAY TO SATURDAY:

It will stay dry with increasing amounts of sunshine. By Friday it will become much warmer, with very warm conditions possible in the west into Saturday.

EASTER SUNDAY & MONDAY:

A fresher feel with more cloud around.
