TREE POLLEN COUNTS ARE HIGH
With dry and warm conditions through the long weekend, tree pollen levels will be high. Birch, ash, willow and oak pollen will be airborne, as well as some early grasses for anyone sensitive to the main hayfever season that normally begins early May.
In addition Oil Seed Rape is now in flower.
UV SUNBURN RISK IS HIGHER
The sun is as high and strong this Easter as it would be in late August. There is a risk of sunburn in exposure to the afternoon sunshine.
There will be some high level, non-rain bearing cirrus cloud over the coming days that could turn the sunshine hazy at times. This cloud will not act as a filter from the sun's damaging UV and UVB rays. The sun is still strong enough the penetrate through the cloud and burn skin. Take care!
