Detectives investigating the murder of a man in Salford have made a second arrest.
Shortly after 9pm on Saturday 11 May 2019, police were called to Cleggs Lane in Little Hulton to reports that a blue Fiat Sedici had collided with two men on a black motorcycle.
The occupants of the Fiat fled the scene on foot prior to police arrival.
The pillion rider – 20-year-old Luke Fleming – was taken to hospital where he sadly died from his injuries on Friday 17 May 2019.
The rider – a 23-year-old man – was later located by officers and treated for minor injuries.
A murder investigation was launched and a 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He was bailed pending further enquiries.
Yesterday, Saturday 25 May 2019, an 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody for questioning.
Detectives are continuing to appeal for any witnesses or anyone with any information to get in touch as soon as possible.
