Tourists have spent more money than ever on trips to Cumbria. The latest figures from Cumbria Tourism suggest visitors from overseas are staying longer and spending more.
But domestic tourism is up too. One reason might be linked to the uncertainty over Brexit.
But whatever the reason, it seems that nationally, more of us are choosing to holiday in the UK rather than going abroad because of the weaker pound.
