Tributes have been paid to a young footballer who died after collapsing while playing with friends in a park.
10 year old Petro Dixon had a cardiac arrest at Cadishead Recreation Ground in Salford on Saturday - it is believed to have been caused by a burst blood vessel in his brain.
Volunteers and paramedics performed CPR before Petro was rushed to hospital.
He underwent two emergency operations, but tragically could not be saved.
Posting on Facebook, Petro's father Pete Dixon said his loved one's lives have been "turned upside down" by the tragedy.
The family say they are "eternally grateful" to those who fought to save their son, and that Petro's organs will be donated to give other people the gift of life.
Petro's auntie described her nephew as a "beautiful and warm-hearted" boy who always gave the best cuddles.
Petro was a member of De La Salle FC's Under 11 squad - who said they're absolutely devastated by the loss of the "wonderful" young player.
