It's the first day of the RHS Tatton Park Flower Show.

Among the exhibitors this year are Cheshire Police, who've commissioned college students to create a cybercrime garden - and sow the seeds of online safety.

Today is RHS members day with public opening starting tomorrow. The show runs until Sunday.

Organisers have promised visitors a "fabulous day out bursting with colourful gardening inspiration, fun family activities, have-a-go workshops and boutique shopping".

"Our garden team, led by head gardener Simon Tetlow, creates a suburban fruit garden motivated by the global decline of invertebrate life and inspired by the colours, shapes and forms from Eric Carle's, The Very Hungry Caterpillar! Little ones will be able to join in weekend activities and have a go at making bug hotels."
