Highs pressure builds again this week. At this time of year it doesn't always mean wall-to-wall sunshine but it should stay mainly dry with light winds.
Expect some colder nights under clearer skies. Misty mornings are always possible.
Outbreaks of mostly light drizzly rain will effect southern parts with drier weather for Cumbria. A cloudy night, especially in the south where cloud may shroud the moors. Mild in the south, but turning chilly for Cumbria under clearing skies. Lows down to 5°C.
A cloudy and damp start for southern parts, but the rain should clear by lunchtime. Brighter weather will eventually spread from the north bringing sunshine for many during late afternoon and early evening. Highs to the average of 16-18°C. A colder night to follow under clear skies with light winds!
