September sunshine continues across the North West

TUESDAY:

A dry day with light winds and plenty of sunshine. Fair weather cloud will develop in the afternoon but there will be plenty of gaps to let the sunshine through. After a chilly start temperatures recovering to average 17°C.

Another dry and clear night follows. Temperatures will drop low enough to cause a few mist patches but these will clear soon after the sun rises. Lows 3-5°C.

MIDWEEK:

Wednesday will start off chilly, but once again warm sunshine will dominate for the rest of the day. Some high cloud may gather over Cumbria. Winds will be light. Highs to 18°C.

TOWARDS THE WEEKEND:

Warmer days with long sunny spells continuing. Chilly nights with a higher risk of mist and fog by Friday morning.

Saturday looks like the warmest day, but breezier. There is a chance that rain and stronger winds could overnight into Sunday.
