ITV encourages Britain to put their phones down and get talking in a bid to improve the nation's mental health

On Saturday night, Ant and Dec paused the action during Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions to launch ITV’s major new mental wellness campaign, Britain Get Talking.

Anxiety and depression in children have risen 48% since 2004, but talking and listening can improve mental wellness. The Britain Get Talking campaign is supported by many famous ITV faces, as they pause what they’re doing to encourage families to talk more.

The campaign is supported by Young Minds and Mind, and is the first initiative in the ITV Campaign for Mental Wellness, a five year project in partnership with the charity Mind.
