Manchester's LGBT+ centre set to be demolished to make way for new premises

The country's first ever purpose-built gay centre is set to be demolished in Manchester to make way for brand new premises. The LGBT+ centre closed its doors in August with a new space set to be built in its place. The once single-storey facility will be three times the size when it's rebuilt, and provide more space and facilities for the LGBT+ community.

The whole project will cost £2.5million and while most of that has already been raised, they still need another £200,000. Today they launched their 'Buy a Brick' campaign to try and raise the remaining money.
