A missing cat has turned up safe and well - 15 months after he went missing.
Jazz was just 16 months old when he vanished from his home in Bury in September last year.
His family searched everywhere and began a social media campaign to spread the word, but with no luck.
The family had almost given up hope - until they received a phone call out of the blue on Thursday.
A couple a mile and a half away had found Jazz and taken him to the local vets, where a microchip scan confirmed his address.
His owner, Barbara Franks, said she and her children were "delighted" to get him home.
It is an incredible story. We are just absolutely made up - the whole family are. Jazz is back home now and doing well. He seems absolutely fine with the other cats.
The family say it's a real lesson to always use microchips.
"We would like to thank everyone concerned - we're very grateful," Mrs Franks added.
