A 9-year-old boy from Croston in Lancashire has written to sports stars and celebrities asking them to help a hospice that looked after his dad.
Thomas Sibley has received over 150 responses, with people donating signed memorabilia to be auctioned off in aid of St Catherine's Hospice in Preston.
Thomas' dad, Steven, died from bowel cancer just two days before Christmas last year.
He said that doing the auction has made him focus on the happy things in his life, rather than the sad ones.
His friends and teachers at Trinity & St Martin's Primary School are helping him to organise the auction.
Thomas had originally planned to raise £2000, but with three days of the auction left, he has already raised at least £5000.
All of the details about the auction can be found here.
