A Romanian gangmaster has been jailed today after exploiting a minimum of 41 vulnerable Eastern European workers in the North West.
It is thought that Alexandru Goran could have exploited 'hundreds' of other workers.
A judge said that Goran kept the group trapped by their low pay and put them at 'risk' on a daily basis.
Some of his victims received just £20 a week.
