Two half-brothers have been found guilty of killing a Liverpool fan as he celebrated his team's Champions League victory.

George Bala Lloyd Evans was stabbed in the chest during a fight with Kieran Perry and Ramal Edwards in the city centre at around 3am on 2 June earlier this year.

The Crown Prosecution Service said that the two men worked together to kill Mr Lloyd Evans.

A jury convicted Edwards of murder and possessing a knife and Perry of manslaughter at Liverpool Crown Court today.

Paramedics called to the scene took Mr Lloyd Evans to the Royal Liverpool University Hospital after the attack but he died later from his injuries.
