Second man arrested over fatal crash in Burscough

A second man has been arrested by Lancashire Police following the deaths of two men in a crash in Burscough.

The 20-year-old man, from Liverpool, was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, failing to stop at a collision and burglary.

He has been bailed until 23 December.

Another man was also arrested last Thursday on the same charges, he has also been bailed.

Connor Stevens, 24, and Luke Peaurt-Moran, 18, both from Sefton died after a collision two weeks ago.

The white Audi A1 they were driving, along with a red Fiat 500 Abarth, had been stolen from an address in the Towngate area of Eccleston.

The Fiat Abarth was recovered after the crash on Valley Close in Crosby, Merseyside.
