Polls for the first December General Election will open in just over 13 hours and voters in the region could hold the balance of power.

There are several key seats in the North West that will decide who will be in Number 10 Downing Street for Christmas.

They are known as the Bellwether seats and the party that wins them, often wins the election.

Warrington South is one of those seats and Boris Johnson visited there last night in a final bid for votes.
