Midwives in the Isle of Man organise service for bereaved parents
Midwives from Noble's Hospital in the Isle of Man have organised a service for parents who have lost their child at birth.
Led by hospital chaplain Reverend Philip Frear, families were invited to St Thomas's Church in Douglas to light a candle in memory of their child.
The service took place on 2nd January at 2:00pm.
The STAR (Still Treasured, Always Remembered) service is put on each year to support bereaved families.
This year, the service aims to build on the partnership between the midwifery team and local bereavement organisations.
