The high pressure (and its lingering gloom) continues for another few days with low cloud, mist, fog and some dampness. However, there’s a change on the horizon. A squally band of rain pushing southeastwards on Sunday will bring colder, showery air behind it, then there’s the potential for something stormy to start next week
The jet stream which is currently to the north of the UK, hence the settled, albeit cloudy, weather most of us are enjoying. As we go through the weekend into next week it will push south and run across the UK leading to more unsettled weather. Colder air also brings the chance of some snow for northern parts.
