Thousands of pounds worth of jewellery stolen from Lancaster pawnbrokers

Police in Lancashire are appealing for information after over £30,000 worth of jewellery was stolen in Lancaster.

Police say that CCTV footage shows two offenders entering Ramsdens in Nicholas Arcade Shopping Centre through the ceiling last Thursday evening.

The pair then stole a selection of 14 carat gold items, some of which Lancashire Police have said are unique in their style.

DC Adam Jussub of Lancaster Police said: "This crime was committed in the early evening and members of the public may have seen people on the roof or vehicles parked nearby.

"We would urge anyone who saw anything to get in touch."
