Granada Weather - Weekend update

After two stormy weekends - and a very unsettled week bringing heavy rain, strong winds and further flooding across the region - this weekend is less dramatic but we still have a few warnings in place......

There is a wind warning for northern parts of the region until 10pm Saturday with a rain warning in place Monday. For the latest visit - Met Office Weather Warnings

SATURDAY:

There will be scattered showers throughout the day broken by plenty of drier and brighter spells. However, it will stay windy, with brisk westerly winds making it feel cold. Gusts 50-60mph likely in exposure. Highs 7°C.

Winds will ease through the evening with just the odd shower before rain develops from the southwest and turns heavier after midnight. Another chilly night. Lows 2°C.

SUNDAY:

A wet start to Sunday before rain clears through the morning. By the afternoon it will be mostly dry with scattered showers, some bright or sunny spells. Breezy but not as windy as Saturday. Highs 6°C.

OUTLOOK:

Heavy rain and strong winds to start the working week, with a warning in place for a very wet, windy and potentially wintry start to the early hours of Monday morning. Rain will clear to blustery showers and sunny spells.

Cold thereafter with sunshine and wintry showers. Frost and ice by night.
