Jamie Carragher donates 'swapped shirts' to Liverpool charity Kit it Out

Jamie Carragher has donated his collection of 'swapped shirts' to a charity in Liverpool.

The former Liverpool defender has gifted the shirts he swapped with famous players over his career to "Kit it Out" a charity which aims to give football shirts a new lease of life.

Kit it Out hand out second-hand and donated football kits to community centres, so that they can be passed on to people who may not be able to afford them.

Kit it out is run by Paul Morgan and his partner Michelle, along with their friend John.

They have handed around 500 football jerseys over to community centres across Liverpool.

Carragher's donated shirts include jerseys worn by Italian superstar, Francesco Totti, and former Liverpool midfielder Luis Garcia.

The shirts will be auctioned off every week to raise money for Kit it Out and the Jamie Carragher Foundation.

You can find out more about the auctions on Kit it Out's Twitter and Facebook pages.
