Health bodies in Merseyside and Cheshire have joined forces to create free video workouts for mums-to-be.
The aim is to support the physical and mental wellbeing of women with the brand-new #BeFit4Baby video workout service.
The scheme has been created by a partnership of MSP, Active Cheshire, NHS Cheshire and Merseyside Women’s and Children’s Services Partnership and Cheshire and Merseyside Maternity Voices Network
The groups have teamed up with fitness coach, Juanita Steel, who has a track record of supporting women’s health.
Twice-weekly live video classes have been commissioned, with a ‘catch-up’ option also available.
It’s hoped that midwives and other pregnancy healthcare professionals will benefit from being able to access the resource as well as pregnant women themselves.
Details of how to join, plus other pregnancy exercise resources can be accessed via www.merseysidesport.com/be-fit-4-baby
