High pressure keeps our weather calm and settled this week. As it migrates northwards over the next few days it will drag warmer air in from the south/southeast.

So far this May, the North West has only had 25% of the expected rainfall and the dry conditions are set to continue for the rest of the month.

Despite some patchy fair weather cloud at times, the next few days remain sunny and warm by day, with temperatures reaching the high twenties celsius by the end of the week/ start of the weekend.
