Man, 35, charged with murder of Alison Dodds, 51, in Blackpool

Police have charged a man with murder following the death of a woman in Blackpool.

Officers were called to a flat on Redcar Road last Thursday 21 September.

51-year-old Alison Dodds was found having suffered multiple injuries.

On Monday, 25 September, 35-year-old Alex Hindley, of Redcar Road, Blackpool was charged with murder and is due to appear in court on Tuesday morning, 26 September.

Lancashire Police say Alison's loved ones are being supported by specially trained officers.

In a tribute, Alison’s family said: "We are shook up and upset that Alison has died in this way, it is not the way she should have gone and we all love her and miss her."
