Mini-Maker Faire opens

A celebration of weird and wonderful things is taking place in Manchester this weekend.

The Museum of Science and Industry is holding a Maker Faire... an exhibition with inventions of all shapes and sizes.

Everything from robots to giant homemade games are being showcased by their creators.

Whether you're into art, science, technology or music there will be something for everyone at the Manchester Mini Maker Faire. Maker Faires celebrate the human spirit of inquisitiveness, creativity and ingenuity and aim to inspire others to try and make their own creations, so come along and join in the fun!

– Organiser John Beckerson

More than sixty people are sharing their work this weekend.
