Parents lead tribute to Rochdale road crash victim

The family of a man who died following a collision in Rochdale has paid him tribute.

Police were called to Sandy Lane in Bamford shortly before 4.40am on Sunday 9 November 2014, to reports of a collision.

When officers arrived they found a white Audi A6 S-line had collided with a grey Audi A5 Sport.

The 25-year-old Joseph Brown-Lartey, who was driving the Audi A5, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Joseph was a great son, brother and friend to many people with his whole future ahead of him, which has been tragically and suddenly taken away from us far too soon.

He will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Our lives will never be the same again.”

Police appeal after man dies in crash in Rochdale

A man's died after a crash involving two cars in Rochdale. It happened on Sandy lane early Sunday morning.

Fire crews had to free four men from the two vehicles. A 25-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. Four men aged between 18 and 21 are being treated at Royal Oldham Hospital.

Police are appealing for anyone in a silver taxi that was near the scene at the time to come forward.
