Manchester United appear to have confirmed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as interim manager.

It's been reported that the club referred to their former striker as "our interim manager" on their website - in a post that was later deleted.

There has been no official announcement that the Norwegian is taking over - the club say they will report a permanent boss at the end of the season.

It comes after Jose Mourinho was sacked "with immediate effect" on Tuesday.
