Grand National 2019: thousands heading to Aintree

Thousands of people are heading to Aintree for the Grand National.

Police say people should expect additional security and bag searches, but that people should stay safe and enjoy the event.

Ladies Day follows on Friday, culminating in the world famous steeple chase on Saturday.
